Features Of Our Springs

A flat spiral spring is made by winding a band-shaped material so that its central line forms a spiral on a plane, and acts as a spring by applying an external force to one end of the spring. Given that it can store large amounts of energy in a relatively small space, it is used as a power source for familiar objects and purposes such as in watches or moving large structures. There are two types of shapes, one in contact with the material and one not in contact with the material. The shape is selected according to the spring’s load characteristics and application.
