Features Of Our Springs

Extension coil springs are generally used for applications in which a load is applied in the tensile direction, and therefore both ends are often hook-shaped, but the ends can come in various different shapes. Features of the extension coil spring are that it is a spring with a small diameter that does not undergo heat treatment after winding. It is possible to apply initial tension to the extension coil spring, and it can generate an appropriate load without gaps between the wires when tension is applied.

EXtension coil springs can also be used for both compression and tension by inserting screw fittings at both ends and using rod ends instead of hooks. When using a extension coil spring for pushing or pulling, consider using one with a metal fittings.

Tokai Spring conducts daily verification tests to properly maintain the performance of our springs in any environment such as at temperatures of 100°C or higher, -20°C or lower, as well as for applications in which our springs are exposed to seawater or industrial water!
