| March 1934 | Metal spring business started in Osaka |

| March 1944 | Tokai Spring Industry Co., Ltd. established |
| June 1951 | Plant for hot coil springs (large springs) completed in Fukushima-ku, Osaka

| April 1957 | Hiroshima Works established and operations started in the Hiroshima area |
| June 1971 | New factory completed in Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, strengthening the production system as a comprehensive spring manufacturer |
| February 1975 | Tokyo Sales Office opened and operations started in the Tokyo area |
| August 1995 | Obtained ISO 9002 certification, an international quality assurance standard |
| August 1996 | Extended ISO 9001 certification, the international quality assurance standard |
| November 2001 | Completed construction of a new 21st century plant in the core industrial park in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture |
| December 2001 | Obtained ISO 14001 certification, the international environmental management standard |
| November 2007 | Disc spring production plant completed in the core industrial park in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture

| February 2008 | Certified as an “IT Management Practice Company” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry |
| November 2008 | Received the Porter Prize |
| February 2009 | Awarded the Grand Prize (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award) in the SME IT Management Awards 2009 |
| May 2010 | Received the Incentive Award at the 2nd Japan Marketing Awards |
| June 2010 | Completed construction of the brick factory “Keishokan” in Kamimidai, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture

| November 2013 | Obtained AS/EN/JISQ 9100 certification for the aerospace industry quality management system |
| November 2013 | Hot coil spring plant relocated from Itami City to Kamimidai, Toyooka City and completed

| November 2015 | Received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 6th Monozukuri Nippon Grand Awards |
| June 2016 | Head office relocated from Fukushima-ku, Osaka to Nishi-ku, Osaka

| December 2018 | Selected as a “Regional Future Leading Company” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry |
| February 2022 | Received the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Director-General’s Award in “The Most Valuable Company in Japan” awards |
| August 2024 | Completed construction of the open laboratory “Tokai Lab”
