Question Spring Design

This question is about allowable stress when designing a thin flat spring.
If a repeated load of tens to millions of times is applied, there is no problem if the allowable stress is designed within the spring limit value, right? Is it okay to think that the spring will work well without being destroyed if it operates within that value?
I’m a Newbie, so I’m sorry for such a basic question.

Answer Tokai Spring

Thank you for writing to us!
The spring limit value is the stress boundary at which permanent deformation does not occur due to repeated loading.
Therefore, the stress is different due to the service life of the springs. When you look at the service life, please use the fatigue strength diagram. For more information, please refer to the leaf spring section on our website below.

Thank you!
