I am currently designing a spring. Is there a difference in Young’s modulus depending on the type of tempering process of SUS304? The materials here are・ SUS304-CS ・ SUS304-W1 ・ SUS304-W2 ・ SUS304-W1 / 2H.

Unfortunately, SUS304-CS, SUS304-W1, SUS304-W2, and SUS304-W1 / 2H cannot be used as materials for springs because they are not spring materials. SUS304CSP and SUS304WPB, which are stainless steels for springs, have Young’s modulus of 186000N / mm^2.

*SUS304（EQ to S30400 by ASTM, X5CrNi1810 by DIN, L-No6X5CrNi 18-9 by ISO ）
