Tokai Spring Industries can provide disc springs that meet the repeated durability required for equipment that must be in constant operation, such as PET bottle manufacturing machines. Disc springs installed in some machines used to mold plastic bottles have a lifetime of two million cycles. (The required lifetime varies depending on the specifications of the machine.) In order to achieve a durability of two million cycles, it is not enough to satisfy the theoretically calculated values; it is also necessary to consider the clearance between the spring and the guide when it is installed in the equipment, and factors that cause corrosion of the spring such as moisture and condensation. Tokai Spring Industries has a system in place to calculate the service life of springs that takes into account the actual usage environment and to promptly provide to customers the springs that they need and when they need them. For this reason, normal operation of the equipment can be ensured, and springs can be procured immediately for replacement and maintenance.
