The Christmas Trees (Wellheads) used for oil and natural gas mining use large valves, and therefore the volute springs for them also need to be large.
With the advantage of being a custom-made spring manufacturer and the experience in producing large springs for the valve industry and steelmaking industry for more than 70 years, we have the technology and know-how to produce volute springs to a maximum material thickness of 32 mm, and an outer diameter of 450 mm. The maximum load that the springs can withstand can be up to 47 tons. Even if the exact dimensions are unknown, we can still perform reverse-engineering with the old springs by measuring the dimensions accurately and creating a detailed drawing.
