With the shape as shown in the illustration (1), when the vertical load P = 50 N is applied to the leaf spring with a plate thickness of t = 1.0, plate width of b = 30 and l = 50, calculate the vertical deflection (δ) and maximum bending stress (σ) of load at point B.

From formula (2)

With the shape as shown in the illustration (2), when the vertical load P = 20N is applied to the leaf spring with a plate thickness of t = 0.5, plate width of b = 20 and r = 25, calculate the vertical deflection (δy) and maximum bending stress (σ) of load at point B.
