Question Spring Newbie

If a disc spring is made of carbon tool steel SK5, is it likely to rust in a humid environment?

Answer Tokai Spring

SK5 (SK85) is easy to rust when used with normal iron products.
With disc springs, there is a risk that the contact part will peel off even if the coating is applied and the rust will come from there, so I think that it is necessary to use a lubricant such as a grease too to prevent the rust.
