Question Dosukoi Chanko

It is said that the spring also moves in the rotational direction when it is compressed, but if the end is closed-end (no grinding), will the spring not move in the rotational direction?

Answer Tokai Spring

Dosukoi Chanko, when the spring is compressed, the pitch angle becomes smaller and the diameter becomes slightly larger. As the diameter increases, the force to return the diameter becomes rotational. I don’t know if it helps if the end is firmly fixed to the seat without grinding. Even if the movement is slight, it changes depending on the shape and the amount of compression.
